A Brief History

For the past 19 years, the Prairie Pride shows have consistently brought together fine quality folk art, primitive, country, and traditional crafts, select antiques, and garden goods from local and area artisans and antique dealers. Customers from a 4 state area who desire unique, handcrafted, American made treasures with which to decorate and personalize their homes and to use for gift giving, have made PRAIRIE PRIDE shows a destination point.

Enticing Displays

Folk artist/show promoter Marcy Dailey artfully displays the spring and Christmas shows’ entire stock of inventory delivered by nearly 30 contributors, in the hand-constructed barn, lending an atmosphere of a quaint country store. Rustic props, primitive cabinets, and antique furniture form the backdrop of themed vignettes in the many exciting displays. From soft-sculpture characters to wooden folk art, dried floral arrangements to hand woven baskets, PRAIRIE PRIDE has something to offer the most discriminating buyer.

Treat Your Senses

Follow your nose to displays of sweet smelling bath products like soaps and salts, spice scented candles, and culinary herbal offerings like honey, teas, dip mixes, and mulling spice. Experience the full-bodied aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans from Maple City Roasters. Treat your taste buds with an amazing array of locally baked delights by Nancy Beattie from Indiana Deli. Delight in the whimsy of the chalkware figurines. Marvel at the previous lives of the many antique pieces. Sip a cup of complimentary hot coffee or cold lemonade while you shop!
